Danielle Knight
Danielle Knight is a dynamic force at the intersection of entertainment, culture and impact. As Founder and CEO of Village for Visionaries, she leads us on our mission to make impact the new industry standard.
With over 15 years of experience spanning entertainment, activism, travel, and coaching, she has worked with some of the world’s most influential people, and organizations helping them harness their platforms for purpose.
Relocating overseas solo at 19, Danielle’s journey is unconventional and it’s her unique path that powers her ability to think outside the box and deliver unparalleled value.
Danielle kicked off her career at Disney in events and marketing before transitioning into music where her first role was working with none other than global superstar, Mariah Carey.
As she simultaneously worked on major entertainment projects, talent management, and large scale shows, Danielle was also traveling to Sierra Leone and Uganda, where she co-managed non-profit initiatives such as self-sustaining micro-projects, schools, and community centres.
With feet in contrasting worlds, Danielle saw a glaring gap: entertainment could spark such collective energy and connection during a concert, imagine what could happen if that directed into powering change.
Determined to bridge this divide and a passion for shaking the status quo, Danielle became an internationally certified coach and launched her own business, guiding leaders and creatives to break the mold and design businesses that fused creativity and success with impact.
While running sold-out programs, workshops and retreats, Danielle also worked on the world’s largest multi-cultural festival for the Commonwealth Games in 2018, coordinating over 500 artists from 30 countries, across 7 days.
Leveraging her expertise in human behavior, activism, and events, Danielle became a sought-after mentor, consultant and coach trainer at one of the top academies in the world before launching Village For Visionaries in 2022.
In 2023, Danielle moved to New York City to join Global Citizen, where she worked with the Founder and CEO on projects and events with Presidents, Prime Ministers, UN executives, high networth individuals, A-list celebrities and artists to shape international advocacy efforts.
She played a key role in enhancing the attendees action-taking model for the 2023 Global Citizen Summit, ensuring the high-profile event didn’t just inspire audiences but specifically mobilized them.
In 2024, she helped relaunch Rock Against Racism alongside music industry titan, Cory Brennan and consulted on the creation and launch of the inaugural Ambassador Programme for Prince William’s Earthshot Prize, ensuring high-profile talent engage with the climate movement in a way that was authentic and results-driven.
Danielle campaign directed the first cross-cultural sustainable fashion show at the UN Headquarters for Peace Day, showcasing how industries can intertwine to create real change.
Beyond her behind-the-scenes leadership, Danielle is an award-nominated podcast host and powerful speaker, delivering keynotes at Spotify HQ, Rad Livin Festival, and participating on major industry panels worldwide.
With her experiences spanning 62 countries, and multiple industries, Danielle’s life work and passion is built on a foundation of freedom, adventure, and social justice.
Her presence whether in a boardroom, one-to-one coaching, or on stage is grounded, activating, and transformational.
She doesn’t just talk about impact; she embodies it.
